If you have downloaded videos from Google Video of You Tube, then you’ll understand the hassle of trying to obtain the software to do this and convert the file into a suitable format that you can view it on your Desktop. When you have managed the download, your files will be in FLV format and then need to be converted into MPEG or AVI in order to view it. Numerous bloggs have written advising users on where to download which programs, often requiring additional binary downloads that become confusing and limit usage to those who have an extensive level of PC savvy.

By using Wimpy FLV Player, you can play any Flash (FLV) or Shockwave (SWF) format files directly form your desktop. As if this was not good enough, the software was released for both PC and Mac OS X at the same. Wimpy FLV Player has become increasingly popular with millions downloading it form the Internet. It offers some other benefits on top of the obvious original. It is faster when navigating through the program and doesn’t need to pause to think as many programs do. Also Wimpy FLV player offer a better quality image than other players. In short, it’s here for the curious and the new guy.

Wimpy used to be a great product. What is disappointing is that any support requested through the ticket system appears to be ignored, even after follow-ups.

They provide no other contact details so clearly they are intent on limiting their accessibility to their customer base. If you are looking for that kind of product, I advise you to look elsewhere.
